Settimio Soprani (Castelfidardo 1860/1924)
Brother of Paolo Soprani, Settimio started his own production in a small workshop in “Borgo Cialdini” an area of Castelfidardo. His son Mario undertook a radical process of modernisation of his father business shifting production from small numbers to industrial levels. Mario created a modern commercial business with a global distribution that could reach customers all over the world. His son Paolo further continued the expansion. In 1946, aware the upcoming post war boom in the sales of musical instruments, he created with Silvio Scandalli Farfisa (Fabbriche Riunite Fisarmoniche Italiane).(United Italian Accordion Producers).
