“DIATONICA” 1890 circa (around 1890)
Ferdinando Rasori (Bologna) Unfortunately we don’t know much about Rasori except that he manufactured harmoniums. This sample, perfectly restored in 1980 by Pio Biagi for Giuseppe Panini, retains some interesting features: the keyboard is based on the Bolognese school, the accordion’s bellows is made entirely of wood, and there’s a little bell inside the bass chamber section. These features result in a wonderfully sounding instrument.
